Police: Two West Palm Beach residents arrested on grand theft charges – Palm Beach Daily News

Police arrested two West Palm Beach residents Saturday night for allegedly taking $6,000 worth of jewelry from a North County Road gallery.

David L. Ziskoski, 19, and Megan K. O’Hara, 24, were charged with grand theft more than $5,000 and less than $10,000.

The owner of Attila JK Gallery, 111 N. County Road was in the store at 8:45 p.m., police said. He walked away from the front of the store, leaving his gold bracelet and silver onyx ring unattended. When he came back, the jewelry — worth a total of $6,000 — was gone, according to police.

The victim called police and gave descriptions of a woman and man he saw in the area earlier.

Police spotted Ziskoski and O’Hara, both matching the descriptions, walking in the area of Royal Poinciana Way and Bradley Place, said Sgt. Jennifer Sandman. When police questioned the two, O’Hara “was nervous and admitted the jewelry was in her purse,” Sandman said.

They were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail where they remained Sunday morning on $3,000 bond each.
