PALM BEACH, Fla. –

Police in Florida say a couple left the woman’s name and phone number in a guestbook at an art gallery before they stole $6,000 worth of jewelry, The Associated Press says.

According to Palm Beach police, David Ziskowski, 19, and Megan Ohara, 24, stole a bracelet and ring from the Attila JK exhibition at the ICFA Gallery, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Police say after canvassing the area they found them at a grocery store and that Ohara had the jewelry in her purse, the Sun Sentinel reports.

Police say they found several fake email addresses in the gallery’s guestbook and two of them included the name “Meg” and another included Ohara’s phone number, the Sun Sentinel reports.

Ohara and Ziskowski are each charged with grand theft.
