GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A Meriden man has been arrested after police say he stole over $20,000 worth of jewelry from a home he was working at.
In August, Glastonbury police received a report of over $20,000 worth of jewelry stolen from a home. The owner suspected that Eric C. Wallace of Meriden was responsible for the theft because he was working for a Pest Control Company and was the only person with access to the jewelry.
A police investigation revealed Wallace had sold most of the jewelry at local pawn shops. Glastonbury police located Wallace at his Meriden home and arrested him. He was given a $10,000 bond.
