Jewelry stolen in Door County heist – WBAY

A suspect got away with several pieces of jewelry during heist at a Door County jewelry store.

The Door County Sheriff’s Office says the break-in happened Oct. 18 at Rummele’s Jewelry Boutique in Fish Creek. It was approximately 5:19 in the morning.

The suspect got into a display case and stole jewelry, including sterling silver Pandora rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. The thief also got away with a Charles Krypell bracelet with black diamonds and a three-stack silver ring with black, brown and clear diamonds.

The sheriff’s office says the suspect got away just before deputies arrived on scene.

The suspect tried to disable the surveillance camera, but investigators were able to get some video. A screen shot of the suspect is shown above.
