Three men and a woman armed with pistols burst into a pawn shop in Edgewater Sunday and robbed the store and customers.

The robbers stole four assault rifles, a large amount of ammunition, cash and jewelry, Edgewater authorities said Sunday, seeking information (720-763-3000). The robbery happened at 2:10 p.m. at the EZ Pawn Store, 2551 Sheridan Blvd.

Three wore black ski masks. One wore blue shorts. They patted down pawn shop employees and customers and made them lie on the floor, police said.

They fled in a silver Pontiac Grand Am. Edgewater police also said they broadcast the information about the suspects and their vehicle to other metro Denver police agencies.
