5th largest diamond found at Crater of Diamonds State Park to be cut – KATV

The fifth largest diamond ever found at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfeesboro will soon sparkle and shine more than ever.

The diamond is set to be cut at a North Little Rock jeweler.

The 8.52 carat, clear, white diamond, known as the Esparanza, was found at the park in June by a Colorado woman. The diamond was taken to Stanley Jewelers in North Little Rock.

“I’m very excited to see it transformed, I’ll be even more excited when I get the check,” said Bobbie Oskarson, who found the diamond.

The largest diamond ever found at the Diamond Park was a white 16 carat diamond called the Amarillo Starlight.
