Gold Trades in Narrow Range Ahead of FOMC Meeting – Wall Street Journal

LONDON–Gold prices were slightly lower on the London spot market Tuesday, as traders were cautious ahead of a U.S. Federal Reserve meeting this week, which could see interest rates rise for the first time in almost a decade.

Spot gold was trading down 0.1% at $1,106.95 a troy ounce in morning European trade, sticking to a very narrow $3 range between $1,106.79 an ounce and $1,109.45 an ounce.
