Gold Snaps Five-Day Winning Streak – Wall Street Journal

Gold prices fell on Friday, backing off a three-month high, as a stronger dollar prompted some investors to lock in gains.

The most actively traded gold futures contract, for December delivery, fell $4.40, or 0.4%, to settle at $1,183.10 a troy ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
