Fall craft guide: Annual craft shows on the Peninsula and beyond – Daily Press

This fall, shoppers won’t have to travel far to find handcrafted treasures from the Peninsula’s best artisans and craftsmen. The fall craft show calendar is full this year, with popular shows like the Newport News Fall Festival of Folklife, the Bodacious Bazaar and the Poquoson Seafood Festival returning.

Savvy Shopper Pick: Newport News Fall Festival of Folklife. Oct. 3-4. In its 42nd year, the festival will feature more than 200 exhibitors, along with live entertainment, food and children’s activities. New this year is a straw and quilt maze, a moon bounce free for children, a straw mountain for children to climb, and a create-it-yourself area. $10 parking.
